Blue Birthday Bus

I fell in love with this Birthday Bus stamp and die set from Avery Elle the moment I saw it. It was very easy to color in all the images with my Copic markers. The set has everything you need to make any number of cute scenes. I pretty much used all of them on this card, including the die for the balloon strings, which are thin enough to bend them to look curved.

Other than the the yellow striped background, which I created with Distress Oxide Ink and an Altenew stencil, the whole thing came together quite easily by stamping with copic friendly ink, coloring, and cutting out the images with the dies. The images are mounted with double sided foam tape.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the Birthday Bus set as well. I just applied a a bit of EK Success Powder Tool to black card stock, then stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink. I then added white embossing powder, set the image with my heat gun, and then cut a fishtail in the card stock to add interest. I mounted it all on a piece of light gray card stock to add a little contrast to the rest of the card.
